About the gym

We are a foreigner-friendly gym offering everything from gym memberships to personal training in English and Chinese. All of our trainers are highly qualified and certified in both English and Japanese, providing personalized training and customized programs to help you achieve your goals safely and effectively.

The gym offers personal training at an affordable price, along with 24-hour gym access so you can train on your own anytime. Our personal training + 24-hour access package includes a body assessment to create a personalized stretching plan, plus access to an online program where you can track your progress—even when training independently.

As a local community gym, we may not be as large as commercial gyms, but we intentionally limit our membership to prevent overcrowding and ensure a high-quality training experience. We use high-standard equipment so you can train safely and effectively, including many association-certified equipments. With trainers on-site almost every day, we make sure every member gets the most out of their time here.

About the trainer

Taiyi

Personal Trainer / Owner

Hi, my name is Taiyi, a graduate of the University of Tsukuba with
experience as a trainer at a gym in Tokyo. Over the past three 
years, I’ve competed in strength training, placing 3rd in my 
debut, 2nd at the Student Cup. Certified in both English and Japanese, I hold the
internationally recognized NASM-CPT certification along 
with a Japanese training instructor license. 

Freedom Club Fitness was created to offer affordable, 
high-quality training—especially for people from different
countries who value clear communication and support in their
own language. Specializing in the fundamentals—bench press,
squat, and deadlift—the focus is on building a strong foundation
while helping clients understand how their bodies move and
perform.

The training approach emphasizes education and independence: 
warm-up drills tailored to each individual’s body and limitations,
programs designed around personal schedules and goals, and 
clear explanations of what to do and why. The goal is to help you 
train effectively and confidently, both inside and outside the gym.
